Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick. Anarchy. Review. Swatch.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick.

Hello lovely people!

As a lover of urban decay products I really wanted to try one of their lipsticks. There are 20 different beautiful shades to choose from  so this made it hard to pick but I decided to buy the shade Anarchy. £15.00 here.
There is literally a shade to suit anyone.

The packaging is a shiny grey mirrored effect with a wave indented look. It feels quite heavy but I like that it has a good weight to it.

I didn't really know what to expect with this lipstick but WOW the pigmentation is incredible!
They have a blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter to keep the lips moisturised and velvety soft!
I find that I don't need to apply this as much as I do other lipsticks, It lasts me about 7-8 hours before I find that I need to touch up.

There is no scent with these lipsticks, I prefer that to having a bad smell or a really sickly sweet smell with lip products.

This swatch was literally just one gentle swipe onto my hand!!
I can't believe how much pigment it has.

It's a gorgeous bright pink shade with no sparkle just a shine so you don't need a lip gloss over the top of this..Bonus!

I can't wait to buy some more shades to add to my collection.
Any recommendations?

Top 5 Mascara's

My Top 5 Mascara's

Hey, It's that time again where I sit and ramble on about makeup products I love and I thought I would share with you all my favourite Mascaras :)
Enjoy...

1. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless In Black. £7.99 here

I was a bit hmmm about it before buying it because it didn't look like anything special but when I read that it has micro-fibres in it I thought well why not?
The applicator is plastic and has very fine bristles that makes your eyelashes get a good coat and no clumps, makes my lashes look super long and thick :)
Its cheap enough to keep re purchasing and I defiantly will be.

2. Bourjois Elastic Mascara. Black Unlimited £2.99 here.

The only thing that caught my eye is the funky shaped lid but I'm so glad I got this.
The applicator again is plastic but the bristles are a little longer than the Rimmel one.
"Elastic formula enriched with hevea. Stretches to form extensions beyond the tip of lashes"
I do find that the lid makes it tricky to apply the product sometimes but for £2.99 you cant really complain.

3. Rimmel London Sexy Curves. Intense Black £4.25 here.

This mascara really does give my eyelashes a lovely curl even without using a curling tool.
The applicator is plastic and has 3 bumps, this is what creates the curl.
I find this one can sometimes get a little clumpy but I usually just use another mascara brush to get the clump out.

4. Maybelline BIG EYES Mascara. Black. £8.99 here

Okay so I have cheated a little bit here, I don't actually like the upper lash brush at all on this mascara, it clumps and doesn't add any volume or length to my eyelashes.
BUT
I really like the lower lash mini brush. It really seperates your lower lashes without making your eyes look like spider legs. Its a very small little brush applicator and does a brilliant job.

5. Too Faced Lash Gasm Mascara. Black. £18.00 here

I got this in a Too Faced sample set from here
I absolutely Love this mascara.
The applicator is small spikey plastic bristles and creates an amazing lash.
It's a little bit more expensive than the other ones I have but I do really think its worth the money.

"A moisturizing combination of Panthenol, Vitamins A & E and Jojoba Seed Oil hydrates and soothes lashes to keep them soft, light and flexible"

As you can see I only like plastic brushes, I don't like using normal brush mascara because I find they don't do anything to my eyelashes.
If your like me and prefer plastic ones then I would recommend trying all of these (not at once) hehe.

What's your favourite mascara? Any you would recommend me trying?

My Small Mac Lipstick Collection. Swatches & Pictures

Mac Lipstick Collection.

Hello Beautiful People!
I have 4 MAC lipsticks and I thought Id share with you the ones I have.
The Lipsticks were one of the first items I bought from MAC & I'm glad I did.

Girl About Town, Lustering, Insanely It & Full Speed.

Girl About Town & Lustering.

These Lippy's smell incredible ( like vanilla cupcakes )  there is nothing worse than putting something on your lips that smells bad.

Girl About Town is a bright blue toned purple shade that makes your teeth look pearly white.
Lustering is more of a subtle light pink and is a lovely colour for the day time.

£15.00 available on Debenhams here

Insanely It & Full Speed. (Sheen Supreme)

"Combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass"

Insanely It is very simimar to girl about town but just less bright and in your face.
Full speed is a beautiful coral orange & looks super cute for spring and summer time.

I don't always like to wear a lipstick on its own and usually add a top coat of a gloss, so when I saw these I thought "Ooooh perfect" and perfect they are!

 £15.50 available on Debenhams here

Without Flash, from the top to bottom:
Girl About Town
Lustering
Insanely It
Full Speed.

Full Speed.

I love each colour I have chosen so far, the staying power is fantastic and they really do last hours.
They are velvety soft and super creamy when applied. I like that they don't dry your lips out too, this means no staining when taken off as I find lipsticks that dry out my lips really tend to stain afterwards.
I can't wait to get my hands on more lipsticks by MAC.

What shades do you own? Suggestions on my next buy?

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review & Swatch.

Hey lovely people!
I am always trying out new concealers and have never found one that I end up re purchasing.
However I will defiantly be buying this one again and again.

I got the Mac pro longwear concealer in shade NC15 (£15.50) because it was the lightest on the website here
This is the highest coverage concealer I have ever used, It's a thick formula but easy to work with.
I don't get any crease under my eyes and once it's on it doesn't budge.
It covers my spots and redness on my face so so well.
It has a pump dispenser and brings out just the right amount for me on one pump to do under my eyes, nose and chin with.

I was worried about it breaking me out because it's thick, but so far so good!!
This honestly makes your face look flawless, It's a matte finish but also looks natural at the same time.

The only thing I don't like about this is that the bottle is glass so you have to be careful if you put this into your day time make up bag.

Overall I really do love this product & would recommend this to anyone who likes high coverage concealers.

Will you be buying the MAC pro longwear concealer? Let me know if you like it!

Thanks for reading..

NEW TANYA BURR Lip Glosses. Review Pictures Swatch

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss by Eye Candy Review & Swatches.

Okay Okay so I was super excited to get my hands on Tanya's new products. I have watched her on YouTube for about a year and a bit and I'm very happy for her to now have her own make up line!

I ordered three shades : Afternoon Tea, Picnic In The Park & Lets Travel The World.

As more of a lipstick lover I was a little unsure if I would actually like these because I just can never seem to find a lip gloss that isn't super sticky BUT I do really love these!
They're soft on the lips and not sticky at all, also really easy to apply because of the soft spongey applicator.
The pigment is so good for a gloss as most of the ones I have used in the past have never really shown up on my lips, but these do. yaay!

Afternoon Tea.

Picnic In The Park.

Lets Travel The World.

From the top to bottom - Afternoon Tea. Picnic In The Park & Lets Travel The World.

The three shades I chose are all a crème finish however there are some shimmer finishes among the 12 different shades. They are £6.99 each here and definitely worth it.
I think they are just amazing & would 100% recommend these to anyone and everyone!
I really hope she brings out some lipsticks soon.

I'm now looking at buying some more glosses and trying out her nail polish too :)

Do you have any Tanya Burr products yet?  Comment to let me know what shade is your favourite.

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pearl Powder Review

L'Oreal Paris Lumi Magique Pearl Powder Review.

I was so excited to use this and at first it really did impress me. I was thinking oooh could it be a MAC skin finish in soft and gentle dupe? At first yeah it was but then I realised it was an over spray of glitter :(
I really liked using the top layer as a highlighter because it was just bea--utiful!

The packaging feels a little cheap but the embossing on the powder makes up for that, simple but different.

Rose Radieux is the shade out of the two that I chose.

I will still use this product because it does mattify your skin but still leaves a nice glow finish.
It's just a shame that It looks like a highlighter at first and then it isn't.

As you can see the swatch was from the top with the over spray & just look how shimmery it is!
L'Oreal pleeease do a highlighter using this shimmer all the way through!?

I got this for £8.99 at Boots

Revlon Highlighting palette review

Revlon Highlighting Palette In Bronze Glow.

Hey lovely people!
I was browsing Boots online and saw this little highlighting palette and just had to get it.
I love Revlon products and this hasn't disappointed me.. well apart from when I opened it I realized it had cracked in the post :(

There were two colours to choose from - Rose Glow or Bronze Glow £8.99

The packaging is slim, small and easy to store, there is nothing I hate more than bulky packaging.

They look very similar to Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks but obviously a lot cheaper!

There are 5 different shades in this palette & they go together so well. This could also be used for eyeshadow if you find a way to work it.

I use this with a big brush as I like to get every colour onto the brush, it's quite powdery so I do tap off the excess before putting it onto my cheeks. I wouldn't use a bronzer then use this after because its got a lot of colour in it already.

I think this will look beautiful in the summer when you have a tan and just want a pop of colour to your cheeks for a natural radiant glow.

The only down side is that it doesn't have a mirror in the compact so you couldn't use this whilst on the go. Apart from that I really like this palette and will defiantly be using it a lot in the summer time :)

Will you be buying the Revlon Palette?

L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow Review.

L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow.

Hello beautiful people!
I'm going to be rambling on about the L'oreal infallible eyeshadows today and seriously they are just amazing!

I have 4 different shades and I really do love each one. They are extremely pigmented, velvety soft and easy to work with. The main thing that I like is you don't get any fall out when applying these, The colour lasts all day and don't crease so that's always a good thing.. you don't even need a primer with these!

Endless Chotolate - Is a gorgeous rich chocolate bronze.

Ethernal Black - Black with silver glitter.

Black Onyx - Very shimmery grey that can be built up to look darker.

Time resistant white - Beautiful frosty champagne white.

The swatch above is literally one press onto the product and swipe onto my hand, you really don't need to use much of this product at all unless you want an intense look. I think these little pots will last me ages ( well I hope )

These are the best low end single eyeshadows I own.
I apply these with my finger because I find brushes don't pick up a lot of product and you lose some of the pigment with a brush. Doing the smokey-eye is super easy with these and they have a fairly good colour range, I really want the purple obsession because it looks incredible!
I 100% recommend these to everyone.

They are £6.99 each from Boots Or Superdrug.
