MAC BLUSH. DOLLY MIX. REVIEW. SWATCH.

MAC Blush - Dolly Mix.

Hello lovely people!
As a massive fan of MAC products I didn't own one of their blushers. Well until now anyway.
I ordered it online so I didn't really know what the shade looked like in the pan but I thought the name was cute "Dolly Mix"
It was £18.00 here

The packaging is small and easy to store. I really like how when the lid is closed you can see what colour the blush is through the top because its see-through BUT I do prefer blusher and bronzer's to have a mirror on the inside for top ups throughout the day.... however this blusher stays around all day and I find I don't need to reapply this even after 8 hours, I can now see why they didn't put a mirror on the inside of this product, it's simply not needed.

(Sorry the swatch is not so great)

I am so glad I decided to get dolly mix, it's a beautiful hot pink and very pigmented. It does look a little scary in the pan but it's a lovely shade that is a must have for summer time.
There isn't a lot of shimmer in this blush so it looks very natural when applied as long as you don't go putting too much product on that brush! I have very fair skin & it suits me well. Definitely my new go to blusher!

Do you have any MAC blushers?

Mavala Double Lash. Before & After. Review.

Mavala Double Lash.

Okay so I debated about buying this product "will it work? will I remember to put it on? maybe ill just get extensions instead". I thought £11.00 was a better price than paying for fake eyelashes.. so I finally caved in.
It claims to strengthen, lengthen and thicken up your lashes.
You apply the product at night time to clean dry eyelashes & allow to take affect while your sleeping!

I have never had short eyelashes but I wanted to see if this product would help thicken up my eyelashes. I have been using this for around 30+ nights and I really have noticed some changes!

It's a little glass bottle 10ml £11.00 here
The brush & handle is small but not hard to work with.

Not only are my eyelashes thicker & stronger but they are alot softer than what they used to be, I find it easier to apply my mascara in the mornings now too (not sure why) I don't need half as much mascara on my lashes as what I used to.

I did have a before picture but I have had some issues with my phone where it decides to delete pictures for me..brilliant.

2 weeks into using double lash.                      30 days into using double lash.

You might be sitting there thinking... "I can't see a difference"

But I can see and feel the difference and noticed a change after about a week of using this product. I will keep using the Mavala double lash. It's all natural ingredients and it doesn't have any smell to it so that's always a good thing.

I hope this has helped anyone who has been interested in Mavala double lash. I really do recommend giving it a try. It might sound like a lot of money for something your not sure will work but from my pictures I hope you see that it really does work!

Rimmel London. Stay Matte Primer. Review

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer Review.

So Rimmel london have recently come out with this stay matte primer, as well as a stay matte foundation (that I have not tried...yet)
I decided to pick up the primer as I'm always up for trying out new products to stop shine and minimize my pores.

30ml for £5.99 here... bargain right?

The consistency of the product is thick but easy to work with, I find when I use this my make up just glides on easily and makes my skin feel ultra soft. It doesn't make your face feel greasy at all. I really do find this helps mattify my skin and doesn't become oily during the day as much as what it used too with another primer I used to use.

I wouldn't say it minimized my pores as much as what some other primers have done but I find that with some primers that totally get rid of your pores end up giving me spots..naaasty! So although I can still see my pores a little it's no bother because I haven't got any spots from this primer!

I use this underneath my foundation (MAC studio fix fluid) and set my foundation with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder (here) and I honestly love the way it makes my skin look and feel.

I would defiantly recommend this primer to everybody, even if you have your favourite one already.. give it a try and I'm sure you will love it!

Top 5 Soap & Glory Products

Soap And Glory Top 5 Favourites.

I love soap and glory and thought I would let you know my Top 5 favourite products. Even though I love every single product I have tried by Soap and Glory.. everyone has their favourites right?

I can't really remember when I first started using Soap & Glory but Since I did I have not stopped. They are so inexpensive especially for the amount you get in a tub, bottle or tube.
They are on offer at boots quite a lot, usually on a 3 for 2 offer which is a total bargain.

Sugar Crush Body Wash 500ml. £6.50 from Boots here.

I can't get enough of this body wash, It's perfect for the spring and summer time because of the citrus lemon and lime scent.
It foams up almost instantly with the smallest amount on your hands.
This makes you feel so fresh and awake in the mornings I really recommend this body wash to you & it lasts for months as only a little is needed each time.
The smell really reminds me of a luxurious cake or tart (scrummy)

The Righteous Butter 300ml from Boots.
Cant seem to find this on the boots website :/

This Body Butter is super moisturising and smells very fresh, I like to use this every day when I get out of the shower.. if I have time.
I find it doesn't make my clothes stick to my skin even if I get dressed straight away.
It has shea butter and aloe vera in it so this can be used on sunburn, I used it last summer on my sun burn and it really did cool my skin down.
This is such a nice product and I like how it's in a tub so you can just slap on how much/little you want.

Heel Genius 125ml £5.50 from Boots here

I tend to forget about my feet when it comes to looking after my skin, well that was unti I found this little beauty! I put this on at night time before I go to bed about 4 times a week and my feet are softer than they have ever been.
I love this stuff and you don't need much .. a little of this goes a long way.

- A little tip is to put some socks on after applying this to avoid the product rubbing off whilst your sleeping.

Hand Food 125ml £5.00 from Boots here

I suffer so bad in the winter from dry hands & after trying out so many different hand creams that didn't work I thought that there was nothing else out there that could help me.
I found this in my local Boots and thought I would give it a go.
I was a little worried because it's scented and I thought "that's gunna sting"
but it doesn't!
It really does moisturise my hands like no other, I no longer have to worry about searching for something that really works. I love how its super silky but doesn't feel greasy.
Amazing product! 5* PLUS :)

Soap and Glory Original Pink Eau De Parfum* 50ml £16.50 from Boots here

This perfume smells like the righteous butter, It's so fresh and lasts hours.
I'm defiantly a lover of girlie sweet scents and this doesn't disappoint.
I love the cute bottle shape and the little ribbon clasp instead of a lid, looks so pretty with all of my other perfumes on the bed side table.

What are your favourite Soap & Glory Products?

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick. Anarchy. Review. Swatch.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick.

Hello lovely people!

As a lover of urban decay products I really wanted to try one of their lipsticks. There are 20 different beautiful shades to choose from  so this made it hard to pick but I decided to buy the shade Anarchy. £15.00 here.
There is literally a shade to suit anyone.

The packaging is a shiny grey mirrored effect with a wave indented look. It feels quite heavy but I like that it has a good weight to it.

I didn't really know what to expect with this lipstick but WOW the pigmentation is incredible!
They have a blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter to keep the lips moisturised and velvety soft!
I find that I don't need to apply this as much as I do other lipsticks, It lasts me about 7-8 hours before I find that I need to touch up.

There is no scent with these lipsticks, I prefer that to having a bad smell or a really sickly sweet smell with lip products.

This swatch was literally just one gentle swipe onto my hand!!
I can't believe how much pigment it has.

It's a gorgeous bright pink shade with no sparkle just a shine so you don't need a lip gloss over the top of this..Bonus!

I can't wait to buy some more shades to add to my collection.
Any recommendations?

Top 5 Mascara's

My Top 5 Mascara's

Hey, It's that time again where I sit and ramble on about makeup products I love and I thought I would share with you all my favourite Mascaras :)
Enjoy...

1. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless In Black. £7.99 here

I was a bit hmmm about it before buying it because it didn't look like anything special but when I read that it has micro-fibres in it I thought well why not?
The applicator is plastic and has very fine bristles that makes your eyelashes get a good coat and no clumps, makes my lashes look super long and thick :)
Its cheap enough to keep re purchasing and I defiantly will be.

2. Bourjois Elastic Mascara. Black Unlimited £2.99 here.

The only thing that caught my eye is the funky shaped lid but I'm so glad I got this.
The applicator again is plastic but the bristles are a little longer than the Rimmel one.
"Elastic formula enriched with hevea. Stretches to form extensions beyond the tip of lashes"
I do find that the lid makes it tricky to apply the product sometimes but for £2.99 you cant really complain.

3. Rimmel London Sexy Curves. Intense Black £4.25 here.

This mascara really does give my eyelashes a lovely curl even without using a curling tool.
The applicator is plastic and has 3 bumps, this is what creates the curl.
I find this one can sometimes get a little clumpy but I usually just use another mascara brush to get the clump out.

4. Maybelline BIG EYES Mascara. Black. £8.99 here

Okay so I have cheated a little bit here, I don't actually like the upper lash brush at all on this mascara, it clumps and doesn't add any volume or length to my eyelashes.
BUT
I really like the lower lash mini brush. It really seperates your lower lashes without making your eyes look like spider legs. Its a very small little brush applicator and does a brilliant job.

5. Too Faced Lash Gasm Mascara. Black. £18.00 here

I got this in a Too Faced sample set from here
I absolutely Love this mascara.
The applicator is small spikey plastic bristles and creates an amazing lash.
It's a little bit more expensive than the other ones I have but I do really think its worth the money.

"A moisturizing combination of Panthenol, Vitamins A & E and Jojoba Seed Oil hydrates and soothes lashes to keep them soft, light and flexible"

As you can see I only like plastic brushes, I don't like using normal brush mascara because I find they don't do anything to my eyelashes.
If your like me and prefer plastic ones then I would recommend trying all of these (not at once) hehe.

What's your favourite mascara? Any you would recommend me trying?

My Small Mac Lipstick Collection. Swatches & Pictures

Mac Lipstick Collection.

Hello Beautiful People!
I have 4 MAC lipsticks and I thought Id share with you the ones I have.
The Lipsticks were one of the first items I bought from MAC & I'm glad I did.

Girl About Town, Lustering, Insanely It & Full Speed.

Girl About Town & Lustering.

These Lippy's smell incredible ( like vanilla cupcakes )  there is nothing worse than putting something on your lips that smells bad.

Girl About Town is a bright blue toned purple shade that makes your teeth look pearly white.
Lustering is more of a subtle light pink and is a lovely colour for the day time.

£15.00 available on Debenhams here

Insanely It & Full Speed. (Sheen Supreme)

"Combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass"

Insanely It is very simimar to girl about town but just less bright and in your face.
Full speed is a beautiful coral orange & looks super cute for spring and summer time.

I don't always like to wear a lipstick on its own and usually add a top coat of a gloss, so when I saw these I thought "Ooooh perfect" and perfect they are!

 £15.50 available on Debenhams here

Without Flash, from the top to bottom:
Girl About Town
Lustering
Insanely It
Full Speed.

Insanely It
Full Speed.

I love each colour I have chosen so far, the staying power is fantastic and they really do last hours.
They are velvety soft and super creamy when applied. I like that they don't dry your lips out too, this means no staining when taken off as I find lipsticks that dry out my lips really tend to stain afterwards.
I can't wait to get my hands on more lipsticks by MAC.

What shades do you own? Suggestions on my next buy?
