SIGMA DUPE?

Ebay 10pc Cosmetic Brush Set

Its that time again where I write to you about something new that I'm currently enjoying so today I decided to write about the bargain brushes I got from Ebay. I was browsing for some new brushes but didn't want to be paying a silly amount of money for just one brush so I thought I would look for a set. I came across a 10 piece set on ebay here and it was a bargain at £11.58 with free postage, however the postage did take about a month.

Each brush is engraved with "jessup"

In a 10 piece set you get 5 face brushes and 5 eye brushes that are all different shapes.
The hair is synthetic but they are so soft seriously I have never felt a brush softer than these! I really like the density of these brushes, some others that I have bought in the past have looked great but the density lets them down.
I did wash these as soon as I revived them as they smelt like plastic but I think that was from the bubble wrap and bag that they got sent in, I usually do wash new brushes anyway so that was no bother for me. No hairs have fallen out whilst putting on my makeup with these I can't explain how annoyed I get when new brushes flake on my face.

Face Brushes.

Eye brushes.

I would say the eye brushes could be used for concealer as they are quite big..a little too big for eye-shadow unless your putting your base shade on all over the lid.
The face brushes may be too hard for some people to work with but these are just right for me.

Could these be a dupe for SIGMA brushes?

Topshop Makeup Haul & Review. Picture Heavy.

Topshop Makeup Haul & Review.

Hello everyone! Today I have a review of some Topshop makeup products I have recently purchased, I have never tried anything from Topshop in the beauty section but I was always hearing such good reviews, so thought I would treat myself to a few goodies!

I decided to get one face product and two different lip products.

At the front of the picture is 'Brighton Rock' Lipstick
At the back of the picture is 'Lolly'

Powder Blush in shade 'Good Girl'

From the back to the front is Good Girl Blush, Brighton Rock & Lolly.

The Packaging for all of these products is super cute, with stripes, spots or stars. They just look so sweet with all of my other makeup under my dressing table. If your like me and is a sucker for funky or different packaging then Topshop makeup is certainly one for you!

Brighton Rock Lipstick is a gorgeous coral shade and has a slight hint of fuchsia running through with a satin matte finish. If my lips are dry I do need to add a gloss over the top of this as it can show off chapped lips and that's never a good look. It has a really nice scent to it and I cant quite put my finger on it of what it is.. it's not strong so it puts you off but there definatly is some sort of smell to it. I would wear this more in the evenings in the summer for a gorgeous pop of colour. But be careful as it stains your lips so you don't need to keep reapplying.  £8.00 here

Lolly Sheer Finish Lipstick is a beautiful pale pink that can easily be built up. The only thing I would say about this one is that it doesn't last very long compared to other sheer lip butters I have used in the past. It does really moisturise my lips and is very easy to wear during the day for work or if you just wanted a simple makeup look. I will be using this a lot in the summer and have already nearly used half of it. It has the best scent any lip product could have...vanilla so its a big hit for me!

Good Girl Powder Blush is a pretty pastel candy pink shade with a slight hint of silver sparkle running through. This gives a natural radiant glow for those days where you don't want to be wearing anything too heavy on your face. I'm pale so this suites my skin really well but I don't really know how this would work on darker skin tones & it goes so well with the Sheer finish lipstick in lolly. £7.00 here

Overall I love everything I decided to get from the Topshop range and will definitely be buying more!
There are so many shades of lipsticks, eye-shadows, nail polishes, Mascaras, Eye-liners and blushers to choose from so there is something for everyone.

What do you recommend for me to try from the Topshop makeup range next?

Bath & Body Works Hand Gel Review

Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitizers.

Firstly I would like to say I'm back!! I havn't been blogging for a while but I'm back and sorry :)

Anyway, I have been so lucky to have been sent some American goodies from a lovely lady I met through my Instagram. She is so funny and I'm glad we are now friends for life. MANDYCON is her name on Instagram & you should go check her page out because she's awesome!! We did a box Swap and my box from her was crammed full of new products to try out, so Ill be blogging a lot of American make-up very soon.

Bath and Body Works was something I really wanted to try & she sent me 5 hand sanitizer gels.

Pink Vanilla Macaron, Aloha Orchid, Fresh Honeydew Lemonade, Caribbean Escape And Coconut Cabana.

So some people that have never tried these will probably say "its just a hand sanitizer".. but oh no! these are absolutely incredible, they each have a fruity fresh scent that stays on your hands for ages! It smells like a perfume when its first applied and I was worried it would irritate and dry out my hands but so far so good, If anything I find them quite moisturising.

They each contain 29ml of coloured gel that has little balls floating around. The bottles are small and easy to pop into your handbag and off you go. You can get cute little holders for them to attach them to your bag too! I got sent a holder but forgot to get a photo..oops!

Each little bottle is $1.75 and can be found on ebay for the people who live in the UK and want to try them out.

I definitely recommend giving these a try, I wish the UK had hand sanitizers like these instead of the boring nasty ones we get that sting your hands if you have little cuts.

MAC BLUSH. DOLLY MIX. REVIEW. SWATCH.

MAC Blush - Dolly Mix.

Hello lovely people!
As a massive fan of MAC products I didn't own one of their blushers. Well until now anyway.
I ordered it online so I didn't really know what the shade looked like in the pan but I thought the name was cute "Dolly Mix"
It was £18.00 here

The packaging is small and easy to store. I really like how when the lid is closed you can see what colour the blush is through the top because its see-through BUT I do prefer blusher and bronzer's to have a mirror on the inside for top ups throughout the day.... however this blusher stays around all day and I find I don't need to reapply this even after 8 hours, I can now see why they didn't put a mirror on the inside of this product, it's simply not needed.

(Sorry the swatch is not so great)

I am so glad I decided to get dolly mix, it's a beautiful hot pink and very pigmented. It does look a little scary in the pan but it's a lovely shade that is a must have for summer time.
There isn't a lot of shimmer in this blush so it looks very natural when applied as long as you don't go putting too much product on that brush! I have very fair skin & it suits me well. Definitely my new go to blusher!

Do you have any MAC blushers?

Mavala Double Lash. Before & After. Review.

Mavala Double Lash.

Okay so I debated about buying this product "will it work? will I remember to put it on? maybe ill just get extensions instead". I thought £11.00 was a better price than paying for fake eyelashes.. so I finally caved in.
It claims to strengthen, lengthen and thicken up your lashes.
You apply the product at night time to clean dry eyelashes & allow to take affect while your sleeping!

I have never had short eyelashes but I wanted to see if this product would help thicken up my eyelashes. I have been using this for around 30+ nights and I really have noticed some changes!

It's a little glass bottle 10ml £11.00 here
The brush & handle is small but not hard to work with.

Not only are my eyelashes thicker & stronger but they are alot softer than what they used to be, I find it easier to apply my mascara in the mornings now too (not sure why) I don't need half as much mascara on my lashes as what I used to.

I did have a before picture but I have had some issues with my phone where it decides to delete pictures for me..brilliant.

2 weeks into using double lash.                      30 days into using double lash.

You might be sitting there thinking... "I can't see a difference"

But I can see and feel the difference and noticed a change after about a week of using this product. I will keep using the Mavala double lash. It's all natural ingredients and it doesn't have any smell to it so that's always a good thing.

I hope this has helped anyone who has been interested in Mavala double lash. I really do recommend giving it a try. It might sound like a lot of money for something your not sure will work but from my pictures I hope you see that it really does work!

Rimmel London. Stay Matte Primer. Review

Rimmel Stay Matte Primer Review.

So Rimmel london have recently come out with this stay matte primer, as well as a stay matte foundation (that I have not tried...yet)
I decided to pick up the primer as I'm always up for trying out new products to stop shine and minimize my pores.

30ml for £5.99 here... bargain right?

The consistency of the product is thick but easy to work with, I find when I use this my make up just glides on easily and makes my skin feel ultra soft. It doesn't make your face feel greasy at all. I really do find this helps mattify my skin and doesn't become oily during the day as much as what it used too with another primer I used to use.

I wouldn't say it minimized my pores as much as what some other primers have done but I find that with some primers that totally get rid of your pores end up giving me spots..naaasty! So although I can still see my pores a little it's no bother because I haven't got any spots from this primer!

I use this underneath my foundation (MAC studio fix fluid) and set my foundation with the Rimmel Stay Matte powder (here) and I honestly love the way it makes my skin look and feel.

I would defiantly recommend this primer to everybody, even if you have your favourite one already.. give it a try and I'm sure you will love it!
