LORAC Tantalizer Baked Bronzer Review/Swatch

I have recently done a box swap with a friend from America and in the bundle of goodies she got for me there was a few items by LORAC - a brand I have never used before due to it not being in the UK but have seen a lot of LORAC products on Instagram or peoples blogs. When I saw this Tantalizer I instantly swatched it onto my hand and was amazed at how gorgeous it was. I have been using it for 4 days and just love how pretty it looks on my cheeks. It's a bright copper shade with swirls of light gold running through and a lot of shimmer.
It almost reminds me a little of MAC soft and gentle but better!

As you can see this product is just beautiful, If you can get your hands on one of these I would highly recommend getting yourself one as you wont be dissapointed.

If you would like to go nose at all of the items we sent each other in our swap ...

Zoella Beauty Haul

So I'm sure you all watch zoella (Zoe Sugg) on YouTube and know she has just launched her own products.
I for one was so excited to see what sort of things she was bringing out. I thought it would be makeup but it's bath and body products along with a couple of makeup bags and a candle.

I really wanted to get my hands on a couple of things but wanted to find them in store first to see if I liked the smell as there is nothing worse that buying something online and then don't like it. I went to the superdrug in Norwich and was searching for ages and finally saw them...yes it was right in front of me and I walked past it probably about 2 times before I noticed them.

I decided to get 4 of the products and In total I spent £26.00 but I definitely think it was all worth the money. I personally thought the products would cost more than what they are so that's always a nice surprise.

I decided to get;
 Fizz Bar £5
Blissful Mistful Body Spray £8
Guinea Pig Makeup Bag £8
Soak Opera Bath Soak/Shower Gel £5

My favourite thing is the Blissful Mistful spray, the scent reminds me of Chance by Chanel but much more affordable. It is also a great size to pop into your handbag for when you want to top up during the day. The packaging is cute and looks so pretty on my dressing table.
All of the products smell similar they are very girlie scents, sweet but not too overpowering.
Overall I am happy with the bits I bought and will definalely be repurchasing items when they run out.

You can purchase her products here

Do you have any of the Zoella products yet? What ones are your favourites?

Collection 2000 Work The Colour Lip Butter Review & Swatch.

As a lover of  lip crayons when I saw colletion 2000 had come out with 4 new "work the color lip butters" for just £2.99 each I just had to give them a try, I decided to get all 4 shades because I loved the look of each one.

Popping Pink, Cappuccino, Vintage Rose And Perfect Plum.

I actually couldn't believe my eyes when I swatched these little beasts on my hand. They are absolutely gorgeous! I love how these feel super moisturising on the lips and the colour pay off is great, I would pick these rather than the high end "chubby sticks" any day. They last on the lips for a couple of hours before the colour fades, I'm always re applying my lip products anyway so I don't really tend to mind. Although there are only 4 colours at the moment I think they have chosen the right ones to suit most skin types.

Overall I would recommend trying these especially when the price is so affordable.

What is your favourite shade?

Clarins Cleansing Duo Review

Hey lovely people!

After recently having a facial whilst at a spa I decided I needed to buy myself some luxurious face products to help with my problem skin. I knew that I needed to stop using wipes to remove my make-up as I found I was waking up to find more spots had appeared on my face. I decided to buy the clarins cleansing duo for combination or oily skin. It was £12.70 from a website called allbeauty here. You get a cleansing milk and toning lotion, both bottles are 100ml which is a great size if your trying out a product for the first time or even better for travelling.

These both smell amazing, definitely spa like products that leave your skin feeling so soft and silky smooth. I apply the cleansing milk with my fingers all over my face, wipe off with cotton sheets, wash my face with warm water, apply the toning lotion and leave to dry. I have found since using these I don't get as many breakouts as before when I just used to use a few make-up wipes and think it was all off, boy was I so wrong!

What's your favourite make-up remover?

Illamasqua Sale Haul

Hello lovely people!
I had an email from Illmasqua saying they had a sale so I couldn't help but look and buy just a couple of items, well it would be rude not too right?

I decided to get the intense lip gloss in shade Frenzy for £5.00 instead of £16.50 and a pure pigment pot in shade zeitgeist for £7.50 instead of £16.50. The postage was free and in total I saved £20.50
I only have a lipstick from Illamasqua so wanted to try a few more bits but didn't want to spend too much just in case I didn't like them but I'm happy to say I absolutely love these two products!

I really like how the packaging is slim unlike some other brands tend to be very bulky with hardly any product inside. This makes them easy to store...plenty of room for more! and also light to carry around in your everyday make up bag.

I seriously can't believe how amazing this lip gloss is, the pigment is absolutely incredible and just looks gorgeous. It's velvety smooth and so creamy on the lips. I find that the gloss tends to fade but the colour stays around for around 3 to 4 hours before I then need to pop on some more, however this isn't a problem for me as I tend to always re apply even when its not needed with any lip gloss or lipstick.

Pure Pigment - Top with primer, Bottom without.

I used this pigment to create a black smoky eye and I loved the end result. There are tiny fine bits of silver glitter among the black that give the most beautiful 'My eyes look great and I know it' look. I used a damp brush to apply this to my eyes as I found that when the brush was dry I wasn't picking up a lot of product plus it helps reduce fall out. I found that using a primer helps the product stay for longer and didn't crease at all, there is nothing worse than realising your eye shadow has creased whist on a night out...anyone else agree?

Did you purchase anything from the Illamasqua sale?

DIORSKIN NUDE Tan Matte Transat Edition - Summer Look

My MAC highlighter had hit pan so I was in need for something new although I loved the one I had been using I wanted to try something new. I was in my local Debenhams and swatched the Diorskin nude tan transat edition and WOW I needed to get it! So I had my money ready to buy one and the lady said they didn't have any left.. as you can imagine I was absolutley gutted, so off I went to every single store that sold DIOR and I got the same answer in every single shop. This made me want this product even more! I got home and searched online and yes, I found it on FeelUnique Yippee!

RRP £40 but then they had a £5.00 off when you spend a certain amount so I got it for £35.00

First of all the packaging for this product is beautiful, It comes with a little brush for application and a dust bag. I don't use the brush as it is dense and as the powder it's self is rather intense I think I would end up looking like a glitter ball so I use my real techniques contour brush to apply.

Swatch below is one swipe across the hand.

This gives off the most stunning highlight to the face. I have a pale complexion and I love the way it looks on me. I think this would look just as beautiful on darker skin. This isn't a product that I would use every day but that's only because of the price it's more of a special occasion face product.

I'm so happy to finally have this in my make-up collection and would defiantly recommend this stunning product to you all! If you are like me and couldn't get hold of this in any shop then head over to feelunique but be fast!

MILANI Color Statement Lipstick Swatches.

Milani Lipstick Collection

So I have been very lucky to be able to get hold of some MILANI color statement lipsticks.
I got some sent over from USA during a box swap and also a friend of mine went to America and got me some more as I loved the ones I had so much already so yep, I wanted more!

I have 7 in total and absolutely love each shade I own. The formula is very creamy and the pigmentation is incredible! You get full colour coverage that lasts for 4 to 5 hours, during this time I do tend to put a clear gloss over the top as I find my lips can feel a little dry.

I love the packaging of these lipsticks they look much more like a high end product. I would never of thought they would cost just over $5 each, such a bargain.

12 (Flamingo Pose) 14 (Rose Hip) 15 (Hot Pink Rage)
17 (Plumrose) 19 (Raspberry Rush) 33 (Rose Amour) 34 (Violet Volt)

This one was £16.95 but it has the total value of £86.15 I know...crazy right!!?

The box it's self is very girlie and looks cute as well as being jam packed full of amazing products! It's also a great size to use for storing make-up items in, I think Ill use this for some of my favourite lipsticks or lip balms so they are all in one place.

So inside the box you get 9 different products of what only 2 of are smaller sizes where as the rest I belive are normal sized.

My First D&G Lipstick.

Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo Gloss Fusion Lipstick Review

Hey lovelies! So it was my 21st Birthday a couple of weeks ago and I got a Dolce & Gabbana lipstick in shade Poetic as a gift and I love it!! I love the gold packaging it looks sleek and feels expensive. In the middle of the creamy lipstick is a shiny gloss..such a great idea! The pigmentation of this is just amazing I only need one swipe across my lips and wow, just wow.

As you can see its lovely and shiny, It's so moisturising and feels very light on the lips. I forget I even have lipstick on whilst wearing this until I then have a drink and Its all around my cup...oops!
It lasts around 2 maybe 3 hours but also stains the lips so you don't always have to reapply as it leave a gorgeous red tint.
This is my first ever makeup product by Dolce & Gabbana and I'm highly impressed with it, I would recommend these lipsticks especially if your more of a shiny lipstick kind of girl like me :)

Would you like to see more of my birthday goodies?

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray Review.

So after reading everyone going mad for this product I decided to give it a try. My hair is thick and wavy but lacks volume when I style it. I have used this product a few times and I really don't like it, Okay so it gives my hair the volume I wanted and does look really nice but after applying I found it made my hair really knotty and so hard to brush through. The first time I thought I had just used too much so I gave it another go and used less, still had the same problem. It's such a shame because I love the way it makes my hair look. It really does do what it says on the can I just wish it didn't make my hair feel so gritty.

It has a gorgeous fresh scent so that's a plus and you get a good amount in a bottle 150ml for £6.99 here. I will try to keep using this so I can get used to the feeling of it in my hair but definitely won't be repurchasing.

I can't say I would recommend this product because I'm not 100% happy with it.

Have you tried this? What do you think of it?

Favourite Summer Nail Polishes. MAVALA

So I have a love for Mavala Nail polishes and I thought I would share with you all what ones I love to wear during the summer. The thing I love about these are the size and amount you get in a bottle, now I know alot of people don't like how there isn't much product inside because you only get 5ml, however I LOVE this because I'm always buying new colours and this means I never finish a polish off before it starts going gloopy and nasty.
The packaging is small, cute and simple with the names & numbers on the front of the bottle.£4.50 each here

From the left -  SOUTH BEACH PINK, FROZEN BERRY, VEGAS PINK, JAIPUR.

I only ever need two coats of Mavala polish. The brush isn't the best but you still get a smooth finish.

These are just 4 of my favourites to wear in the summer, they are all bright and such pretty girly colours. The orange on the right I usually wear on my feet as it makes them look tanned whereas the two pinks and lilac shade I tend to wear on my hands so I can show the gorgeous colours off. If you haven't tried these yet then I would totally recommend giving them a go, you never know you might fall in love just like I did.

What are your favourites from Mavala?

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick | Fuchsia Shock | Review

I'm a huge fan of Revlon products, nothing I have tried has every disappointed me.
I decided to try out the super lustrous lipstick and very happy that I decided to pick this shade "Fuchsia Shock"  its absolutely beautiful!
The thing I love about this product is that you can either go with one swipe for a subtle look or three swipes for a more intense colour. The pigmentation of this is incredible however it lasts about 1 maybe 2 hours depending on what your doing. This really doesn't bother me as I'm always reapplying lipstick out of habit even if the staying power is great.

The swatch above is 3 swipes on the inside of my arm...how beautiful?

My teeth literally look a shade lighter when I wear this! The price for this little beauty is so affordable compared to some high end brands that have the same staying power and pigmentation. They are £7.49 here Revlon is sometimes on offer at boots (UK) I'm defiantly keeping my eyes open for the next 3 for 2 offer to be on so I can grab myself some more shades.

What shades do you have?

MAC Lustre Lipstick Haul - A Fantasy Of Flowers

Hello beauties!
I bought two new MAC lipsticks a few months ago from the Fantasy Of Flowers Collection Spring 2014 and have been really enjoying using them so I thought Id tell you what I got!

Left - Snapdragon Right - Rose Lily

I'm not usually one for nude or pale shades for the lips but I wanted to try something different and very glad I got these two!
They are both such gorgeous colours as you can see from the photo above but even better when applied to the lips.

(Natural lighting) Top- Snapdragon Bottom - Rose Lily

SnapDragon - Is a beautiful blue toned pinky/purple with a hint of shimmer.
Rose Lily - Is a pale pastel pink with a sheen finish.

With flash

These give off a lovely shine with a hint of colour, they are sheer so a couple of swipes is enough for me but if you like a bold lip then you would need to apply a few times before you achieve the look you desire. The texture is smooth and super creamy, I don't even remember that I have lipstick on when I wear these it just feels so light and moisturising. I find I need to re apply after about 3 maybe 4 hours and that's with drinking and eating in-between. Fantastic colours for spring and summer! Perfect two new additions to my growing MAC lipstick collection :)

Did you get anything from the Fantasy Of Flowers Collection? Link me to your blog about your Mac products :)

Botanics Shine Away Mattifying Cleansing Mousse Review.

So last week I ran out of my facial wash and nipped to boots and decided to try out Botanics  as I  have never used any products by them before and have seen some blog posts about various products they sell.

Its only £3.99 here for 150ml

I have been using this now for about 6-7 days and I actually really like it.
The formula is a thick bubbly foam that is easy to apply all over the face and wash away with warm water. I find this leaves my skin so soft with no tightness and really does get rid of the excess oil on your face. I use this every morning in the shower and I now don't have to use my blotting papers during the day as much as I used too.

The bark of the willow tree is a natural source of salicylic acid which helps to refine skin texture and actively target imperfections.
Our beauty scientists use active plant extracts approved by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, to bring you beautiful skincare that's proven to work.
We've taken steps to reduce our impact on the planet at every stage in this product's journey.
  • Formulated without parabens.

I wouldn't say it has helped with my spots but this could be because I need to be using it for longer, most facial washes and cleansers tend to take a while to help clear my imperfections, however If your like me and suffer from oily skin, especially in the hot summer months then I would definitely give this a try. It's cheap enough so if you don't enjoy using it then it's not a huge loss. I have sensitive skin and it hasn't irritated it at all. Just now have smooth oily free skin at last ..Yay!

What botanics products would you recommend for me to try?
